00:00:28
Let's start talking... interpreting.
00:00:34 Tim
And now the quote of the day by the influential band, the iconic, The Beatles.
00:00:42 Tim
“There are places I'll remember,
All my life, though some have changed.
Some forever, not for better.
Some have gone and some remain.
All these places have their moments…
…with lovers and friends. I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living.
In my life, I've loved them all.”
00:01:08 Tim
The song goes on to connect to the one love that we have in our lives and how we love that one more… and I like to think it extends to my child as well.
00:01:21 Tim
During this season, we all like to curl up in that warm place with memories of those that have gone before, with those now that we have with us.
00:01:33 Tim
We each have our own traditions and ways of feeling that comfort, to think back…
00:01:39 Tim
On a wonderful year and to think towards the future…
00:01:43 Tim
And what really, truly matters.
00:01:46 Tim
A time to celebrate. Let's get started.

00:01:54 Tim
Today we celebrate Christmas time here in our household, but being a multilingual, multicultural family, we get to celebrate 2 Christmases. That's right, my daughter enjoys the happiness, the magical time on the 24th and the 25th.
00:02:14 Tim
Which means, of course, she gets more presents.
00:02:16 Tim
(We really just divide the presents in, in two, but don't tell her that.) This is also a time of reflection, a time when we look towards how we've done this year and just to relax and enjoy what we have. Enjoy the loved ones we have and to be content with who we are.
00:02:38 Tim
This has been a fabulous year for the podcast, but for me and our family as well.
00:02:45 Tim
So many wonderful voices have contributed to our profession and shared what they know, what they've experienced to give us a little insight into how to improve our work.
00:02:57 Tim
I won't keep you from your tradition. Let me just say thank you for all that you've done to support me in the podcast, whether it's sharing with a colleague, or friend, or whether it's supporting me with a donation. It's all appreciated. Thank you.
00:03:15 Tim
In my life, I know I'll often stop and think about everyone and everything that has come before.
00:03:23 Tim
From my family to yours, enjoy your time. Enjoy this wonderful warm wintery time. And from our daughter Juliana, she wanted to give you a little something to help you along the way. It's a song that she made-up completely on the spot. So, at the end of this you will hear her short little song for you, and I added a little music to go with it. Until next time…
00:03:51 Tim
Keep calm. Keep interpreting. Here's Juliana.
00:04:03 Juliana
It's a beautiful day. We are coming today. We are gonna have beautiful presents under our Christmas tree. And our Christmas tree is gonna be decorated pretty as a Christmas tree!
